Julia Kuo, Lab Proctor
Julia, a native Houstonian, is a senior and majoring in the Business Honors Program / Finance / Plan II. As an active student on campus, Julia is involved with the Orange Jackets, Faculty Council, and the Asian Business Students Association. Julia has spent the past two summers interning at Goldman Sachs, & Co. in the Securities Division and Private Equity Group. After graduation in May 2009, she plans to work in private equity.
Burt (BJ) Loessberg, Lab Proctor
BJ is from Edmond, Oklahoma. He is a Business Honors and Finance major. Last summer, BJ interned at Merrill Lynch in NYC. He worked in both their Global Markets and Investment Banking Division. BJ plans on working in Finance after graduation.
Andrew Smith, Lab Proctor
Andrew is from El Paso, Texas and is a Finance major graduating in the Spring of 2009. Upon graduation, Andrew plans on entering law school to pursue a career in corporate law. Andrew has interned in commercial banking and asset management and is the President of the University Investors Association and the Global Investment Group.
Tiger Huang, Lab Proctor
Tiger is a senior majoring in both Finance and Applied Mathematics and plans to graduate in spring 2009. He is from Round Rock and enjoys shopping at IKEA for Swedish food. After graduating, he intends to enter the buy-side finance industry for several years and then enter law school
Joyanto Roy, Lab Proctor
Last semester, Joy studied abroad in Hong Kong which was a life changing experience for him. He learned a lot about himself through the experience and was exposed to a completely new culture. Joy was born in Maryland and transferred to UT 2 years ago from a junior college. Joy has completed a finance degree and in the process of starting the MPA program. In Joy spare time, he enjoys outdoor activities such as hiking and love to BBQ. Joy hopes to work at a consulting firm after he graduates in the DC/MD/VA area.
Gautam Shah, Lab Proctor
Gautam is a sophomore from Coppell, TX studying BHP/Finance with a MIS minor. His interests include basketball, reading, and dancing. Gautam has completed an Accounting internship at a Media Relations firm in Dallas as well as a Business Development internship for Wall St. Training helping to expand their University Outreach program. His plans after graduation are to work for an investment bank focused on mergers and acquisitions and then hopefully move on to a hedge fund or private equity firm.
Mauricio Gonzalez Kane, Lab Proctor
Mauricio is pursuing a Real Estate Finance degree from UT Austin. He is also currently interning at Stonelake Capital Partners in Austin, Texas. Mauricio has been involved with the McCombs REIT Fund and the Financial Analyst Program at UT. He was born & raised in Monterrey, Mexico and has a special interest in golf and mountain biking.
