financial information and explore financial models for analyzing market
information.
Information Impact Management Classes: The Department of Management
Science and Information Systems (MSIS) has an MBA concentration on
information impact management in finance and students taking courses in
that concentration use the financial data feeds and models available in
the Center's classroom.

of Business analyze investments and manage their portfolio in the Center's

Innovative Classroom Pedagogy: Through its
technologically-sophisticated classroom, faculty can adapt their pedagogy
to the latest educational tools including an interactive touch screen
blackboard (SMART Board), a WolfVision document camera, and a high-resolution
video projector. The Video Guide for Educators provides a description for
the video technology available in the Center.
Distance Learning: The Center can originate and receive long
distance learning through its video conferencing capability and its access
to satellite up and downlinks.
Executive Education:
The Executive Education
Program in the College and Graduate School of Business uses the

broadcasted to remote locations. The Center's sponsors are able to use the
Center's facilities when university classes are not session (weekends and
summers) to bring their executives up to date on the latest technology.
K-12 Education: The Center serves as a resource for the University
of Texas in the application of educational technology as well as assisting
the University's Institute for Technology and Learning (ITAL). It also
serves as a technical lab for the Business Leadership Program and the
Accounting Career Awareness Camp in the area of business education.
